How to compare fairly
- Match dates, people and cabin conditions. Use the final checkout total, including taxes.
- Enter only extras that are not already in that checkout total. Convert daily or per-person charges into totals first.
- Check what your onboard credit can actually buy. It cannot automatically offset flights or your fare.
- Fill unknown amounts before making a cost decision. Compare the experience and cancellation terms separately.
Why there are no preset cruise prices
Your sailing, market, cabin, party and purchase date determine your quote. Preset prices can look precise while making the comparison wrong. This calculator uses only your entries. A blank is visibly unknown, never silently treated as a confirmed zero.
USD and GBP
Each quote has its own currency. Cross-currency comparisons require your exchange rate, including card or conversion fees. Changing the display currency does not change the original quote. Results are rounded to two decimal places.
Method and limitations
Method version 1, 19 September 2026. Total = entered costs minus eligible credit capped at the entered gratuities, drinks and excursion total. The credit model assumes you have checked eligibility for those expenses. Per-night costs use cruise nights and include your pre/post-cruise spending. They are not nightly cruise fares. Saved and shared plans can become stale.
